An identical pair of Victorian Sterling Silver wine,or claret jugs made in London 1866 by Henry Wilkinson&Co. Standing on shaped circular feet. The engraved body with 6 decorative engraved panels,2 being left empty for the purpose of engraving. Grape and vine handles,hinged covers with vine leaf thumb pieces. 370mm high,to the top of the handle, 1748 grams( 56 troy oz.) total weight.Hallmarked under the lips and on the covers.
