A Victorian Sterling Silver gilt and glass claret jug made in London 1873 by Alexander Macrea. Silver gilt mount with fern engraving and bead decoration.Egg shaped bottle, itself richly engraved with fern, leaf, and floral decoration.On a ring foot. Hallmarked on the mount and on the hinged cover.250 mm high, to the top of the handle.
