An identical pair of Sterling Silver shell shaped butter dishes made in London 1844 by Barnard. Engraved on the front with contemporary armorials.Also engraved on the backs with presentation inscriptions " S C W & J W from E W Oct 28th 1844 "On three cockle shell feet.135 mm long,295 gms total weight.
