A Nineteenth century silver snuff box made in Birmingham 1834 by Edward Smith.Extensive scroll engraving,with applied scroll thumb piece. Gilded interior. With presentation inscription : " Presented to Mr John Buchanan coldrach, by a few friends as a token of respect for his unwearied example as a stock breader, Strathendrick 30th April 1862".Hallmarked top and bottom as shown. 90 x 60 x 22 mm.178 grams.
