A Victorian Sterling Silver tea caddy made in Birmingham 1872 by Frederick Elkington. Oval drum shape, straight sided,on a flat base. Floral decorative engraving, and with applied bands of beading top and bottom. The flat lid is also engraved and has a flat concealed hinge.117 x 94 x 76 mm;361 grams.Hallmarked underneath, as shown, and on the cover.
